Late Night Mystery

Dorrie and I still have hope that we are on the right track, however it can get discouraging along the way...

My doctors are a little stumped (along with us)... however, let's all remember where to place our trust:  IN GOD ALONE!
Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart...
Job 10:8 "Your hands shaped me and made me. Will you now turn and destroy me?
Psalm 56:8 Record my lament; list my tears on your scroll--are they not in your record?
Psalm 119:73 Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands.

Ecclesiastes 11:5 As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother's womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.
Psalm 139: 13-16  For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.  My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.  When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body.  All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

  1. Good morning Merv. Just checking in on you and finding your frustration frustrating! I'm sorry you are still up at night, but am thankful you can walk - you are not in a wheelchair or bed-ridden. You are not on a feeding tube or need translators (maybe you do need that sometimes ;)). You even still have a sense of humor, although sometimes hiding under that brave exterior.

"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves; afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing (you too Dorrie);...always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body." 2 Cor 4:7f Thank you for manifesting the treasure of Christ in spite of the DBS.

Love you brother! May His light shine in your heart today that shows the glory of God.

  2. Merv .. you are such a blessing to me.. you fight in the midst of adversity - you continue to press on even though you don't have the answers. I admire your strength, and I pray that God continues to protect you from further progression, and turns things around for the better. I am hopeful (and praying) for a good outcome. I love you dearly.
    your sis,
    Dawna
